Vijay's Thuppakki has set a new record on YouTube. Well, the trailer of the movie, which was released on October 10, has got massive response on the video-sharing website.
In just two days, Thuppakki trailer got 737,399 views on YouTube. It is the highest-ever hits for a Tamil movie. Earlier, Ajith Kumar's Billa 2 was overwhelmingly received by Thala fans and it was viewed 552,399 times on the video-sharing site in 48 hours. This means, the trailer of Vijay starrer movie has got 185,000 views more than Billa 2.Last month, Gautham Menon's Neethaane En Ponvasantham trailer got around 5.5 lakh views, thereby breaking the record of Ajith Kumar's Billa 2teaser.
However, the 41-second video-clip is short, sleek and punchy. As promised, the Thuppakki trailer has lived up to the expectations of the Vijay fans. In the video, Vijay speaks lesser than the bullets that he shoot at his enemies.
The movie directed by AR Murugadoss stars Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal and Vidyut Jamwal in the lead roles.
