Malayalam Film Director Lal Jose to World Trip to 27 countries in 75 days



 Suresh Joseph, former General Manager of Dubai Ports World, Laljose M, a leading Director in the Malayalam cinema industry and Baiju N Nair, a leading auto journalist are the members of the crew undertaking this adventurous trip. 

Three accomplished individuals from Kerala are planning to drive across multiple countries spanning Asia and Europe. Suresh Joseph, former General Manager of Dubai Ports World, Laljose M, a leading Director in the Malayalam cinema industry and Baiju N Nair, a leading auto journalist are the members of the crew undertaking this adventurous trip. 

Purpose

The objective of the crew members is to carry messages about: 
World peace - Universality of Man and the Brotherhood of Mankind
Road safety

Schedule

The journey will be flagged off on June 16, 2014 and take 75 days to complete.

Route

The journey will start from Cochin. The Indian leg will be via Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jabalpur, and Gorakhpur. The crew will enter Nepal and then cross over to Tibet. During the tour through Tibet the crew will visit the base camp of Mount Everest and Lhasa. From there, the journey will take them to Europe through China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Ireland and reach London. 

The team leader is Suresh Joseph, a retired civil servant, who is a Limca Book Record holder for his 24,000 km drive spanning the 28 Indian states and 17 Railway Headquarters. He has also set new records for the North South, Coast to Coast and East to West Expeditions, which have logged 7 records in Limca Book of Records 2014. He has authored 2 books, 'Ek Swift Bharat Yatra-A Railwaymans Journey Across India' and 'From Reclamation to Exclamation-A Photo Journey into the making of ICTT'. He is presently a consultant based in Cochin.
