Legendary Bollywood actor Pran Krishan Sikand passed away
Legendary Bollywood actor Pran Krishan Sikand, popularly known as only Pran has passed away on Friday evening in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital at around 8.30pm. He was 93.
He was given the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2012. Pran played roles of a movie villain and character actor in Hindi cinema from the 1940s to the 1990s.
He acted in nearly 400 movies, his first being "Yamla Jat" in 1945.
Pran is survived by his wife Shukla Sikand and three children.

Plot outline
Ayal is a story on intense human relations. It’s a story of a man who effortlessly floated along the estuaries of time, the back waters of Vembanad. If love is the flowering of one’s own heart, can it have a direction? Is it Scalar (direction less). This is an uncomfortable question raised by him, the protagonist, Guru Dasan. The film problemetises the conventional fabric of human relations, its rules and its sanctity. It could be a rebellion against the pseudo morality often professed and seldom practiced in Kerala!
Set in late 1950s the film uses the symbols of Serpentine Worship and socio political rebellions during that period of time to create an ambience for storytelling. The protagonist Dasan was a practicing Pulluvan, who had an aura of ascribed divinity around him. He had two wives, Janaki and Chakara. Janaki’s love with Dasan was platonic, but Chakara true to her name was possessive. Dasan along the course of time becomes passionate with Devaki Antharjanam, the wife of the village landlord as well. Be it wine, women or smoke, Dasan had no restrictions. His mastery over the profession was unparalleled. Due to the ascribed divinity around him, he was unquestioned. But not for too long, something happens which makes his life topsy turvy! The event also brings out the tenacity and quality of relations he had.
The film picturises the various shades of love and problemetises the conventional concepts around it. Its also an attempt to transcend the definitions of love and to explore the flowering of bonds which are deep rooted than love. What do we call it?

Mohanlal is all set to reprise his much acclaimed Dr Sunny from the film Manichitrathaazhu in this Priydarshan entertainer. The director and co-writer, Dennis Joseph has clearly stated that the movie isn't a sequel to Manichitrathaazhu but another experience of Dr Sunny in his professional life. Along with Mohanlal, Innocent & Ganeshkumar will be reprising their characters, Unnithan & Dasappan, from Manichitrathaazhu. Eventhough the rest of the cast is yet to be announced, its rumoured that Shobhana will be making a friendly appearance in this movie as Ganga. The film is produced by G P Vijaykumar under the prestigious banner Seven Arts International. The cinematography is donned by Thiru and the music department is handled by Vidyasagar. The National Award winner Lalgudi N Ilayaraja will be handling the art department. The film is expected to commence its shooting on July as soon as Mohanlal returns back to India.

Left Right Left Malayalam movie Review- Indrajith,Murali Gopi
Movie is dealing with the Politics in its base, It is not the best among that genre, but way too different from those all .
“ The characters in this film dosent have any resemblance with . . “ enn ezhuthi kaanichapolee njn urapichadha, this definitely got something from the real lives at present. And my guess came true ; ) Murali Gopi got his criticisizing with many present political issues and other social things, applause for those dare attempt, I can feel that fire inside, however me neither always wanted to do the same with these fucking politicians like you did in your climax .
The best thing about LRL is its powerpack performances by the actors, the BEST .
Especially the actress who played as Indrajith’s mother, she was marvelous, her sudden changes in expressions and dialogues, You really made me a WOW and Hareed paredi ( as Kaitheri Sahadhevan )
demands an appreciation. As usual Indrajith, Murali, Lena, Sreejith ravi ellaavarum avarude best thane thannu predheekshichadh pole thane .
And my personal favourite is Ramesh Pisharady. This time he appears entirely as a serious character. Even though he got less scenes, he showed his excellence with his serious role .

Well carved script and acting, but one thing I didn’t like is what, Suraj Venjaramod’s character. He got nothing to do with the script, and too a failure. You should have avoided that character, thus it would also help to minimize the duration of the movie .

Great direction and script demanding editing, parayaandirikaan vayya, climax’le aa ‘light in-out’ effect !
Wooh ! breath taking for that scene .
Music by Gopi sundar was apt, interesting as usual .
DOP was ok, adhigam complicationso onum illa, cinema demand cheythath perfect aayi koduthu .
And finally, for those who are yet to . .
This isn’t an EAK type movie, so please don’t get into it with that hype .
I wont say LRL will satisfy all kinda audience, Firstly as it contains much a serious subject, and secondly as it dosent contain the pace of EAK. Ith paranjadh vere onnumkond alla, chila avanmaark LRL EAK aayi compare cheyth ‘padam poraa’ ‘pretheeshicha athrakilla’ ennoke parayum ( angane keatu chiladh ), Ingane compare cheyyunna aalugalod enik aage ulladh Sahathaapam maathramaanu .
And at the theatre one who was sitting to my left was yawning everytime right from the 2nd half, artificial aanenn avante voice raise yawning ketaale ariyaam ( ma ma . . mathengathalayan ), never mind them .
I recommend it as a MUST WATCH .
And em pretty sure that our audience will give LRL what all it deserves .

Firstly, thanks a ton for the fantastic support over the past few months. It is validation of the highest order for an actor when you try something so out of the box as Antony Mosses in Mumbai Police and you get appreciated for it. It's been a great journey and I think it's time I posted my first personal message on my largest online fans community. Yes..you heard me right..for all those who think that this is a personal account and that I operate it myself, I don't! None of the posts or photographs posted here come from me personally.
